I’m able to lead wedding celebrations in some of the most breathtaking outdoor spaces: romantic gardens to scenic woodlands and peaceful
country meadows (with landowners permission, of course!).

Even as I sit to write this article, the sound of heavy rainfall and whistling of wind is outside my window. It’s June. No doubt the sun will begin to peek around the clouds before the day is done. Whilst being hopeful is encouraged, so too is a contingency plan, one where indoor or sheltered areas are available should the weather not be as accommodating as your team of wedding suppliers. Whatever happens, it will all add to the story and enrich the memories of your guests, who will remember a brilliant, signature ceremony.

– Have a weather plan: As we know, weather in the UK can be unpredictable, so make sure you have a contingency plan, like a marquee or shelter.
– Consider comfort: Think about seating for your guests, as well as supplies like water, suncream (skin safety matters!) blankets and of course, access to loos!
– Permissions: Check with local authorities if you plan to use a public or natural site and check with the owners of private sites.
– Personal touches: Incorporate elements of your story into the ceremony, whether it’s a family heirloom, a special reading, or a shared ritual. These details help make the ceremony truly bespoke.
